GOAL 1:

Increase Voter Turnout

Goal: Increase our voter turnout by 20% compared to 2023. In 2023 we reached 23,522 unique people (without digital) and had a total of 3,166 individuals who turned out to vote. 2,109 were youth.

Measurement: Track the total number of individuals who participate in local elections within the Greater Houston/Harris County community.

Target: Achieve a voter turnout of at least 3,800 individuals in local elections.


GOAL 2:

Community Engagement Events

Goal: Host a minimum of 20 community engagement events throughout the year.

Measurement: Count the number of events organized by Houston Justice that engage community members in open-minded conversation, collaboration, and concrete action. This goal will be met through our Monthly Community Kickbacks, Monthly Screening+Panel Series, Third Ward Golf Club meetups, group travel opportunities, and voter outreach events.

Target: Successfully organize and host 20 events focused on addressing pressing community issues.


GOAL 3:

Training Workshops AND EVENTS

Goal: Conduct educational training workshops on community organizing and social justice topics. Goal for Events: Organize social events to build community and foster relationships among members.

Measurement: Track the number of workshops held and the total attendance. This goal will be met through our annual HJ Summit and Monthly Meetings. Measurement for events: Count the number of social events held and assess attendee satisfaction.

Target: Organize and deliver a minimum of 10 training workshops with at least 30 participants each. For events: Host at least 5 social events, such as mixers, potlucks, or cultural celebrations, with an average attendance of 25 participants per event.
